The works are dedicated to the future that inevitably awaits us—the gradual replacement of human body parts with artificial organs. Technological advances make this inevitable, and it's worth asking: when will a person cease to be human in the classical sense of the word? After half of their organs have been replaced? Or the brain? Or the entire body? And will they cease to be human at all?
